Loneliness Celebrated

The lonely day is now my friend
a lonely sigh, gasping for sound
a lonely tear to cool my face
as the wheels of time, come a round.

a lonely mind, in search of self
one who had strayed in search of a mate
rebukes the broken heart, and says
lets be wise, even though a trifle late.

Lonely paths are there to be crossed,
lonely seas, wait to be sailed..
lonely secrets to be uncovered
lonely sunsets are not all failed.

Lonely beds and lonely dreams
lonely embraces to break the jinx
freedom, my loneliness gives
from deprivation and morbid links.

Loneliness, now...as I find
Empty time and space for free
As I reach out for your hand,
I now know, not meant for me.
